  • Active programme of engagement, stimulating memory and maximising peoples’ abilities.
  • Safe and secure outdoor environment including sensory and ‘footprints’ garden.

Nursing Home Care

The specialist nursing home provides care for 42 people. Our expertise includes caring for people with very complex needs, challenging behaviours, and other conditions with dementia-like symptoms such as Huntingdon’s Disease and Brain Injury. We also support people with Learning Disabilities who have developed dementia.

We provide 24 hour registered nurse coverage. A local GP visits the Centre weekly and is available to speak to family members and carers. The residence is organised around four wings, each staffed by its own dedicated team. Each resident has a single bedroom and each wing has a separate lounge/living area.

With staff support, residents are able to move freely around the different communal areas and to enjoy the outdoor sensory and ‘footprints’ garden.
